Tamar Dolev

Tamar Dolev lives and breathes art. Over the past 15 years since completing her fine art degree at Monash University, she’s developed a unique style in her art practice, which is evident in all her creations often making use of recycled and found objects. Her discipline ranges across paintings, illustration, digital art, drawing, sculpture, photography, animation. Tamar also runs her own clothing brand called PawPaw Designs, designing a selection of unique and colourful clothing for babies, children and adults.

 

Over the years Tamar has participated in many successful group and solo exhibitions, some of which at her resident studio: Artist’s Studio 106 in St. Kilda where she’s been

working from for over ten years.

She also involves herself with other arts related community projects, facilitating art therapy workshops and fundraising events or volunteering her services as a resident artist for local organisations.

 

Tamar’s work has been recognized with awards including an artist in residence at Yarra Sculpture Gallery as well as receiving a Quick response grant from the City of Port Philip. She has also won the Bayside Acquisitive Art Prize; a highly commended award at the Whillouby Art Prize; and was a finalist in the Agendo emerging artist exhibition and being a finalist in the ANL Maritime Art Exhibition and Awards.
