Autumn 2025
Dear Members,
Autumn is fast approaching: fall as our USA friends style it. "Falls" in lots of ways: some of us tumble rather than the"leaves".
Our work is turbulent and we suffer in our discontentment, but art is perennial.
Not as a dodding bureaucrat or electioneering pollie, but as a “nuggetty” support that helps each of our community of artists at every point along the way.
There is therapy in brushwork, needlework or textiles, ceramics, or printmaking: so it will always be.
Cityscape and exhibition is long past; but other challenges beckon. I hope you are all toiling for the forthcoming members exhibition in July 2025 and for our workshops, and other convened activities which have all commenced, portraiture, studio art, and Share your Art; are all underway.
Keep up to date with social media, the Art calendar, and emails. Be supportive of each other, and the art work will relieve your other burdens: to the tasks.
Don’t let your workspace end up like this!

Regards,
Andrew Inglis - GEAS President
